Osama Usama bama, bama Obama who is he now?

Was it last year, or the year before? I think when the candidacy of B. Hussein Obama became viral, we were treated to admonitions that the evil mastermind behind 9-11 was actually named Usama Bin Ladin. http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm

Where is that name now? He's back to Osama in popular media. Why?

I think sinister forces are at work, and I would remind you that being paranoid is no evidence that black helicopters aren't tracking you.....

B-HO Derangement Syndrome?

From one of my friends:

He has some good points, don't shoot the messenger but I could not have said it better:

Yes I'm still seething with rage. Call it BO derangement syndrome or just pure derangement - I. DON'T. CARE. I have put up with disgusting, vile and contemptible comments about my country and My President for 8 years so excuse me if I forego the "gracious loser" mantra. I have watched a fat pig congressman throw Marines under the bus for some face time and as a political ploy. I have put up with politicians publicly taking a dump on our Soldiers and Marines while the complicit media played right along with the game. Two years of listening to the bleating of a dumbo-earred socialist crap-cake calling for "hope" and "change" while eating from the same plate as Rashid Khalidi, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright.

To all those bitter gun clinging Bible thumping racist rednecks in Pennsylvania - you get the representation you deserve. What kind of dumbasses re-elect a "man" like John Murtha? Like they said in The Departed - "What are you, - f'ning retarded or something?"

To all the Jews who voted for Obama - I wash my hands of you. I don't want to hear a damn word from you when Iran lets loose on Israel while B. O. shares tea and crumpets with All-My-Jihad. Shame on you The blood of dead Israelis will be on your hands.

And the Catholics who elected the abortionist in chief?? I still haven't figured that one out. It's a shame the Church can't get a roster of those that voted for B. O so you could be barred from communion. Every time a child is left in a soiled utility room to die after a botched abortion, I hope you get a black mark on your soul.

Fox News - A big old F-U to you. When it looked like B. O would be coronated, you dropped all pretense of fair and balanced and turned into a clone of MSNBC. When will Olbermann get his own show on your network? He could join Shep Smith and they could fly off the handle together (or whatever sordid little things they like to do).

Those throwing Sarah Palin under the bus can kiss my big old white ass. I can't decide if it's insecurity due to a woman with power or if it's just pure jealousy that a woman can look good, raise a family and be a governor but there would not have been 1/3 of the votes for McCain without Palin on the ticket.

I don't want to hear another peep about racism or affirmative action. We've got our first "affirmative action president". White guilt? Take your white guilt and shove it where the sun don't shine. Don't want to hear no bitching when the New Black Panthers become part of an Obama administration - after all, they helped him out in Philly so he owes the brothers. All race cards have expired and are no longer valid in this country.

I look forward to watching the Koolaid effect wear off over the next 4 years. It's hard to believe in hope and change when you're standing in the unemployment line. Free college education? Handouts? Help with your mortgage? Dream on - you'll be lucky to still have a pot to piss in when the Dems get through with you. But don't complain or Raehm "ballerina" Emmanuel will send you a dead fish...

Gracious Loser - no damn way. Not at the cost of my Country and the Constitution. Taking a cue from the new "first lady" - For the first time in my adult life, I'm ashamed of my country.

The Insurance Scam

I'm talking about the government mandated car insurance you have.

Take a look at the premiums you pay. How much? Go ahead, look. I'll wait.

OK, it should be about $300 per year.

It's not? Why? Because if you get injured in an accident the health care costs are so high? No that's not it.

Because car repairs are so spendy, and if it's you're fault, it's twice as much (not to mention what it would be if you smack a Lexus - YOW)? No that's not it either.

It's because the Trial Lawyers want the right to sue when there's an accident.

That's right, the premiums you pay just go to pad the ins companies' law suit fund, because no matter how much they pay out, they're going to be sued. Even if they win, the cost of the law suit is astronomical. Your premiums don't really protect you at all. If you cause an accident that hurts someone, you and your insurance company (because they are the deep pockets party) are going to be sued.

Why bring this up now? Well, if states would pass no fault insurance, and limit law suit payouts, your insurance premiums would be about $300 $400 per year.

Do the math, would you spend the extra money, oh I don't know, buying a new car, TV, or BluRay player?

Can you say 'stimulous'?

Storm The Bastille Edition

The Stimulous Bill is illegal. But then most of the laws passed by the federal government violate the 10th Amendment with the full acquiescence of the peeps who either want the state to care for them, or don't sweat the small stuff that don't affect them too much.

Well, your chickens are coming home to roost.

"Until the 1930s, the Constitution served as a major constraint on federal economic interventionism. The government's powers were understood to be just as the framers intended: few and explicitly enumerated in our founding document and its amendments. Search the Constitution as long as you like, and you will find no specific authority conveyed for the government to spend money on global-warming research, urban mass transit, food stamps, unemployment insurance, Medicaid, or countless other items in the stimulus package and, even without it, in the regular federal budget." --Independent Institute senior fellow Dr. Robert Higgs

"Americans have long ago abandoned respect for the constitutional limitations placed on the federal government. Our elected representatives represent that disrespect." --economist Walter E. Williams in a worthwhile read

"[W]hat could possibly be more reckless than spending a trillion dollars you don't have on a plan that you have no evidence will work? What could be more irresponsible than doubling the generational debt for your partisan pet projects in a time of crisis? And what could be more selfish than stifling debate by deploying fear to induce voters into supporting it all?" --columnist David Harsanyi

Thanks to the Patriot Post for these quotes.

Thomas Jefferson warned us 206 years ago

Thomas Jefferson warned us 206 years ago

JFK once said "I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered at the White House - with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

Let's review TJ's wisdom:

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe. Thomas Jefferson

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Thomas Jefferson

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. Thomas Jefferson

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Thomas Jefferson

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. Thomas Jefferson

Very Interesting Quote:

In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'

"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance" - Thomas Jefferson

Winds Of Change

Hypocrisy edition.

Some comments on current events, in no particular order.

The woman with eight new hatchlings. Why all the ink? Even the No Spin Meister is prattling on about her.

So what, I say. She's got a bidness plan, let it sink or swim.

B-HO, excuse me, President B-HO has issued an edict on CEO pay capping it at $500K, Barney Frank says, hey it's good for some so let's cap every CEO's pay. Ask the average doofus on the street if he thinks it's fair that CEOs make so much while the proletariat is starving, and you'll be lucky if his or her manic lamentations against the CEOs doesn't get spittle on you. The Big Nanny dictates minimum wage, it dictates maximum wage, how long before it dictates all wages? One of my customers e-mailed me that he had talked to a salesman on the floor who told him that the selling price of the car he wanted was $800 more than what I quoted him on the same car. Evidence, he said, if our criminal attempt to maximize profit. Not long, I'm betting.

Kelloggs' Corn Flakes has sacked Phelps as a spokesman (heh, heh, heh, a flake pimping Flakes, and they don't want him?) because of the video of Phelps smoking dope. Sends the wrong message to our young, no doubt. Course, the Chief Executive of the USA smoked dope (and yes, he inhaled, 'that was the whole point' don't you know?) and snorted some crack, but he's just dreamy and mommas is naming theys babies after him. Maybe Kelloggs should put B-HO on the cover, or maybe the country should have the standards of Kelloggs for those we lavish with public adolation.

The Porkulous bill, described by The One as a spending bill because that's what pork, I mean stimulous is all about, should be a budget bill. WTF don't these people elected to leadership positions in our country understand about the government?

The One has delayed the prosecution of the mastermind of the USS Cole bombing. The Left is is high dudgeon over the decision because the poor mister Nashiri was tortured or something in order to get his confession. Course, The One didn't free Nashiri, just took his case off the court docket so he can languish in Club Gitmo interminally while B-HO figures out what his policy on the these sphincters of humanity will be. Isn't holding detainees without charge, without trail something the left wants to prosecute Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeldt for?

There's more, but my honey needs me......

Civics 101

From Lew Waters, comes this primer on government.
